  • A herd of tanks

Figured I should start a thread for the tanks. Mostly want to show off my new innovative marine sr-60 and to see what happens when you try to run a 37 gallon as a zeovit system. I try to ignore the other two, since the OCD that makes sps happy seems to annoy softies and lps

You're welcome! You're the teacher, right? If so, I might be able to wrangle some actual science doers for their benefit/possibly some labor We should talk.

So, I've had my first run in with montipora eating nudibranchs. They suck. The SR-60 is basically sitting fallow while I wait for them to finally starve to death. Lost the newer acros and cyphastrea (that tough little booger still has a few polyps going) because I didn't dial down the calc and alk fast enough, and/or the montis were spewing toxins as they were eaten. I haven't been posting because I've been too busy pouting about some corals I'd had for 5+ years being wiped out. Not to mention the new super pretty corals, that I'd finally ponied up the cash for, who flourished for a few months before succumbing to the plague. I'm starting to plan a new quarantine/growout tank. Hopefully I'll have updates soon.
